TO MAKE A CARD WITH THIS TEMPLATE

The following instructions are for a 6" x 6" card. You may adapt the template to other sizes.

    1. Cut a 12" x 12" piece of cardstock in half.
    2. Fold the sides in 3" from each edge making sure that the two flaps meet in the middle. It is best if they do NOT overlap.
    3. Trim the top and bottom for evenness if necessary.
    4. Cut two panels from pattern scrapbook paper or design your own pattern using some of your favorite clear hobby rubber stamps. You may wish to matte them. Each panel should fit on the 3" x 6" flap that creates the front of your greeting card.
    5. Stamp a favorite image using some of your larger clear rubber stamps. Some great hobby stamps for focal points are  Birthday Blossoms. There are many more you could choose from to create the ideal card.
    6. Stamp your focal image on cardstock measuring no larger and 3" square. You may wish to color or otherwise decorate your focal image. Matte it if desired and then fasten it onto the card by securing half of the image to one flap. The flap should disect your focal point down the middle if you look at the back.
    7. Add a sentiment with your sayings rubber stamps. You may wish to secure it as a focal point or simply stamp it onto the gateway panels in step 4.
