The TILED card making template is a great layout for showing off a large clear rubber stamp design. Stamping a large design allows enough detail to be left on each piece of paper once it is tiled to generate interest and makes a lovely way to display your stamping art. Tiling rubber stamping art or even photos is also fun and easy to apply to scrapbooking art ideas as you personalize your memories.

TO MAKE A CARD USING THIS TEMPLATE

    1. Cut your cardstock (A) to 10" x 5".  Score down the center and fold giving you a 5" x 5" card.  Be sure to trim the edges after you have folded your card so all edges are even.
    2. Cut cardstock C, D, B and E. Do NOT cut E on a diagonal at this time.
    3. Using the clear rubber stamps of your choice stamp the design onto cardstock E.  Stamp the word or saying if desired below your stamped image.  Ink the edges as instructed in Enhancing with Age.
    4. Using a sentiment and pigment ink, create a background pattern on cardstock B.  Re-ink the stamp every second or third time you stamp the image.  Do the same thing with a small design or image to fill in the spaces.
    5. Rub ink onto the edges of (B) to enhance them as instructed in Enhancing with Age under Inking.  Glue B onto the front of the card (A).  Be sure to center it.
    6. Take cardstock E and carefully cut it diagonally both ways so you end up with four triangles.
    7. Glue D onto C.  Arrange the four triangles onto D.  Glue them on in such a way that you can see the color of cardstock D between each triangle.  Fasten C onto B with 3-d sticky Squares.
    8. Tie rik rak or ribbon around card and fasten with a square knot.  You may wish to stamp a sentiment inside the card.
