    Christmas Card Making Tips

    CHRISTMAS CRAFT IDEAS  CD Decorations

    • Decorate CD's with clear rubber stamps to add shimmering reflections and sparkle on your decorated Christmas tree
    • Adorn  little gift boxes with your clear rubber stamps for gift cards and other small gifts.
    • Use Angelina Fibers to add glittering textures and shapes to your Christmas card making projects.
    • Make a frosty card using dryer sheets and glitter.

    SCRAPBOOK PAGE IDEAS
    • The Ornaments of our Home are the Friends that Gather There. Use this heading and then decorate the scrapbook page with ornament shapes cut to frame photos of family and friends during the Christmas Season. Add a little extra decoration with the Holiday Symbols clear hobby rubber stamps which host a variety of Christmas and Holiday ornaments.
    • Christmas Carolling Pages that host musical notes and snowflakes capture the feeling of peace beautifully. Music and Snowflake rubber stamps are easy to heat emboss or simply rubber stamp onto the sides of scrapbook pages to help preserve the beauty of a night of singing Christmas Carols as the snow gently falls round about.
    • There are a number of different stamps that can be used to replace the 'O' in HO-HO-HO! Consider using ornaments, snowflakes, wreaths, or even a little snowman.  Other words that have an 'O' include JOY, LOVE, HOLLY, and SNOW.
    • For even more fun on your scrapbook pages stamp a candy cane on its back to create a sled, then stamp a snowman above it to create a sledding or Snow Fun Scrapbook page.

PHOTOS TO TAKE FOR CHRISTMAS SCRAPBOOKING
    • Outdoor activities that include building a snowman, ice skating, sledding, or just playing in gently falling snow. If you attend a live nativity pageant, you may consider taking some photos of family members in the Bethlehem setting between shows.
    • Family gatherings. Be sure to take family pictures, even though it can be difficult to get everyone together for it. Family changes and grows so quickly you'll want to document it every time you are together with the photos you take. it is also fun to take individual shots of family members standing in front of a decorated Christmas tree.
    • The food is a big part of Christmas traditions and celebrations that we don't often consider taking photo's of. Use photo's of the turkey coming out of the oven or fresh baked pie to set a theme for scrapbook pages. This is also a great idea for Thanksgiving pages.
    • The presents. It is fun to decorate scrapbook pages with die cuts in the shapes of gifts, but consider the originality of decorating your pages - particularly the pages that host children opening gifts - with cut outs of the photos you took of the actual presents that the children are opening.
