Many crafters and card makers use clear rubber stamps to make hobby items that may be for resale. Below you will find the angel policy of each brand of clear rubber stamps carried by Clearly Rubber Stamping to assist you in keeping the copyright laws and getting permissions that you may need to use your clear stamps for your creative ideas and projects.

Crafty Secrets

Crafty Secrets Clear Art Stamps are owned and copyrighted by Crafty Secrets. rtists who have purchased the Clear Art Stamps to use these clear stamps in their own, hand-produced works for sale with the following conditions.

  • Each item created for sale must be personally and individually hand-produced by the artist and may not be copied in any way (including via graphic, electronic, or mechanical means, such as scanning or photocopying). Mass production, assembly-line construction or production by workers for hire is strictly prohibited. No more than 50 handmade samples of the same project may be produced without obtaining Crafty Secrets prior written approval.
  • Items sold must give credit to Crafty Secrets or Clear Art Stamps on the back of the creation.
  • Crafty Secrets designs cannot be used as company logos or trademarks.

Hero Arts

The Hero Arts stamp designs are original artwork created and copyrighted by Hero Arts. Thus, Hero Arts stamps are for personal and non-commercial use only. However, our valued stampers may use Hero Arts Stamps to produce any creations they would like, which can include selling or otherwise distributing these creations in limited quantities.

All commercial use of our designs is subject to the following terms and conditions:
  1. All stamp impressions must be made by hand and no mechanical or other form of reproduction is permitted.
  2. Quantities are limited to projects that are limited in scope, local in nature, and otherwise do not constitute an ongoing business. Additionally, quantities for commercial use are generally allowed if they are in the range of 50 handstamped impressions per stamp image. The production of much larger numbers, and/or for an ongoing business, and/or for an endeavor that is not local in nature, is forbidden.
  3. Wherever possible, Hero Arts Trademarks and Copyrights should be displayed.

To use Hero Arts images for this purpose, simply send or e-mail them a letter acknowledging you agree to the above terms, and include the following information:

  • Your name and contact information
  • A list of the Hero Arts products you plan to use
  • The quantities you anticipate producing
  • An acknowledgment that you "Agree to respect Hero Arts copyrights."

My Sentiments Exactly! is an Angel Company. MSE!’s products are designed for personal, non commercial use. We appreciate our consumer base and their desire to use these sentiment products to create projects for re-sale or for donation and request that the following guidelines for commercial use be observed:

  • Each project must be hand stamped. 
  • Electronic, mechanical, or graphic reproduction (such as scanning or photocopying) is strictly prohibited. 
  • A maximum of 50 hand-stamped items is permitted.
  • Written permission for resale use is required.

Stampendous

Stampendous stamp images can be hand-stamped for personal non-commercial, non-profit enjoyment. Images may be mechanically reproduced for non-commercial, non-profit enjoyment such as color copying, scanning or scrapbooking.                  

Images used for commercial purposes must meet the following criteria.

  • Stampendous is an Angel Company, which means their designs may be used on products for sale, as long as the images are entirely hand-stamped and not mechanically or digitally reproduced in any way.
  • If you are using Stampendous designs for commercial or advertising purposes such as stamping magazines, books, videos, or web sites, you must obtain prior written permission to ensure proper copyright notice requirements are met.

DJ Hook

DJ Inker's does not have any kind of an angel policy. DJ Inkers products are to be used for personal use only. This includes making products to keep or give away…cards, fliers, newsletters, tole painting, etc.

Any use of DJ Inkers products for business or profit is prohibited. They are not to be used for business fliers, newsletters or business cards. They may not be used on business websites. 

Items made with DJ Inkers products may be given as gifts or for personal use. These items cannot be sold or auctioned.
