This exciting cowboy card has a unique three dimensional look done with paper tole and rubber stamping techniques.  The background features a stamp on stamp shadow stamping technique allowing a hint of a cowboy boot to show in the squares.  Done in earth tones, this cowboy howdy creates a great Fathers Day card as well as ranch and farming themed scrapbook pages.

• A   12” x 6”  in the center to make a 6” x 6” card

MATERIALS NEEDED

     White Cardstock (A)
Brown Cardstock (B, C & D)
White Cardstock for stamping on
Brown, green and dark yellow ink
Cactus Cowboy Clear Stamp Set
Geo Shapes Clear Stamp Set
Silver Square Brad
Chalks
Glue
3-d Sticky foam
Scissors or a craft knife

TO MAKE THIS CARD

1.  Score cardstock A in the center and fold giving you a 6" x 6" card.  Cut papers B through D to size.  

2.  Stamp a vertical line with the horseshoe stamp from the Cactus Cowboy Clear Stamp Set.  Trim the edge of the card up next to the horse shoes.  Glue cardstock B on the back side of the front of the card and trim the edges for evenness.

3.  Begin shadow stamping a stamp on stamp pattern as a background using the Geo Shapes Clear Stamp Set and the cow boy boot from the Cactus Cowboy Clear Stamp Set.  Stamp a cowboy boot in the bottom left hand corner of the card.  On the White cardstock for stamping, stamp four cowboys in brown ink.  Stamp one cowboy boot and color with chalks.  Color each cowboy image to match.  Create paper tole art as explained in Rubber Stamping, Scrapbooking and Paper Tole embellishments with the cowboy images.  Secure the cowboy as desired onto the card.

4.  With the Cactus Cowboy Clear Stamp Set, stamp “Howdy”.  Ink the edges of C and D.  Punch a small hole in the Center of the smaller square and insert the brad.  Glue the larger square diagonally in the bottom right corner of the card.  Secure the smaller square onto the larger square with a piece of sticky foam.
