    Materials Needed:

    • Clear acrylic rubber stamps or traditional wooden rubber stamps
    • Toilet paper
    • Water
    • Clear acrylic stamping block
    • Towel

Paper Casting Step 2Paper Casting - Step 1To begin fold the toilet paper sheets so they are 10 thick. Place on a plate or flat dish and pour or spray water to get them wet. This will cause them to stick together.

Choose the design you desire from your clear rubber stamps and place the stamp on your clear acrylic stamping block. Then lay the wet toilet paper over the clear acrylic stamp. Be sure the clear stamp is underneath the toilet paper.

Paper Casting - Step 3With the dry towel, gently dab the water from the toilet paper covering the stamp. If you have excess toilet paper, carefully rip away the extra. Remember toilet paper rips quite easily when wet, so be extra careful. Blot with the towel only until you can see the clear stamp image through the toilet paper. If you remove extra moisture you may have small pieces of toilet paper stick to the clear acyrlic stamp when you remove it.Paper Casting - Step 4

Turn the stamp over and gently pry the wet toilet paper design off the clear rubber stamp. Lay flat on an absorbent towel or screen to dry.

Paper Casting - Step 5Color the wet or dry image as desired and use on card making crafts and scrapbook art designs for stunning, unique embellishments. You have just learned one more way to expand your rubber stamping hobby... Happy stamping!!!
