Coloring the Embossed DesignEmbossing the raw Chipboard in WhiteTO MAKE A CHIPBOARD FRAME BOOK

    1. Begin by stamping your flourishes and flowers onto the raw chipboard in an embossing ink. Sprinkle white embossing powder over the design and set the frame aside until all are ready to heat. (You can also heat each frame as it is ready.) Emboss the designs until the embossing crystals melt together and shine.
    2. Color your chipboard frame by inking the entire surface of the frame. You may choose to use multi colors or solid colors, depending upon your decor and the colors in your photos. There are many other ways to color rubber stamping designs. You may wish to use a watered down craft paint, watercolor pencils, crayons or chalks. Each will give a different effect.
    3. Secured with RibbonOnce you are finished coloring each frame, use your glue dots to run your ribbon (working on the back of each frame) along the top and the bottom of each.
    4. Next you can embellish each frame with sequins, letters, stickers, clips, or more ribbon as desired.
    5. Finish the project by fastening your photos from behind. The project is more interesting if there is space left next to your photo. Other ideas for filling the spaces include snowflakes or any element that would look great hanging in the space, ribbons and bows, rubber stamping designs, and theme ideas.
