TO MAKE THIS CARD

  1. Score cardstock A down the center and fold giving you a 6" x 6" card.  Trim edges for evenness.  Cut papers B and C to size.
  2. Using the Summer Season Clear Stamp Set ink the flower center.  To create the lines in the image use an embossing stylus and draw them on the stamp before stamping as described in Shadow Stamping – Elegant Cards and Pages.  Stamp the petals around the flower, as you do so stamp a second image  before re-inking so lighter petals show behind the first stamp image.
  3. Using a Border Clear Stamp with the green ink stamp a border around your sunflower.  Fill the corners with a bumble bee.  We used the bumble bee border, only inking one bee to create a single bee in the corners.  Mat with B if desired.
  4. Cut vellum (D) to size.  Score down the center lightly and fold.  Place over your card and lightly mark where you want your window to be.  Remove from card and using a ruler, craft knife and cutting mat, cut the square from the vellum.
  5. Open the card out flat, and using the eyelet punch, make two holes in the fold, going through both layers.  Be sure the papers are well lined up before you punch.  String your ribbon through the holes and tie a knot or bow to hold them together.
  6. Use the corner punch on the vellum corners.  You may wish to decorate the vellum or leave it plain.  You may also wish to add a sentiment inside the card or leave it blank.
