Fall leaves, clear stamps, ribbon and paper combine to make this stunning Fall Thank You Card. Your card making crafts and scrapbooking pages can also easily be enhanced with the same clear stamps and techniques used in this project.
PAPER DIMENSIONS
MATERIALS NEEDED
TO MAKE THIS CARD1. Score cardstock A down the center and fold giving you a 6" x 4" card. Cut papers B, C, D and E to size. 2. Using the All Year Clear Stamp Set, stamp one full border in light green ink onto cardstock B. Cut it out at the edge on three sides. Leave 3/8” edge on the right side of the frame. Stamp the frame image on cardstock C but make it narrower as explained in step three. 3. Ink the stamp with light green ink. Using scrap paper, cover about a ½” strip on the right edge before stamping. Be sure you position the image 3/8” from the left edge of the cardstock. Next, ink the stamp again, this time cover the area of cardstock that has been stamped leaving just enough of the edges of the image showing for you to match up the other side of the frame. This will not be a perfect fit but it does come together fairly closely. Cut closely around three edges leaving the left edge straight. 4. Position Frames and cardstock D onto card. Glue into place and trip edges for evenness. 5. Using brown ink and the All Year Clear Stamp Set, ink the leaf stamp and stamp the image once on the red, green and yellow papers. Cut these images out closely as well and adhere to the card using 3-d sticky foam. 6. Using brown ink and the All Year Clear Stamp Set, stamp the ‘Thank You’ sentiment onto cardstock E. Ink the edges with green. Secure into place on the card. Add the brads for additional effect. 7. Using the eyelet setter, punch the desired size of hole where marked on the layout by circles. Run the satin ribbon through the holes to achieve the look of binder rings or binding between your frames. Inside the card the ribbon should cross. Tie off with a square knot and trim the ends to about 1” for embellishment. 8. Add a sentiment or thought inside your card or leave it blank for a finished project! |
