Purr-fect pets are simple celebrated in this rubber stamped card making craft. Using basic paper tole techniques to make a cute three dimensional cat framed with a tag, this rubber stamping craft is easy to make, yet creates interest and intrigue. Make stunning scrapbook pages with this same three dimensional effect!
PAPER DIMENSIONS
MATERIALS NEEDED
TO MAKE THIS CARD1. Score cardstock A in the center and fold giving you a 4" x 6" card. Cut papers B through D to size. 2. Place silver mesh on the bottom half of the tag. Glue E to the center of B and overlap the top edge of the mesh to secure it. Trim the edges for evenness. Measure and cut a diagonal line 1” from each of the top corners to create your tag. Cut a mat for B from the yellow cardstock. Punch a small hole in B and add a single tassel to the top with the silver string. Cut a 5” piece of ¼” ribbon, fold in half and staple to the top of the yellow mat for B. Glue B onto the mat. 3. With the All Year Clear Stamp Set, stamp 3 cat images onto grey paper in black ink. Cut the first image to the dimensions for C. Cut out the remaining rubber stamping images as instructed in Rubber Stamping, Scrapbooking and Paper Tole. Assemble using 3-d foam squares. Add a 1/8” ribbon at the neck of your cat. Cut a mat from yellow cardstock for C. Cut a second mat from black. Ink the black mat with white ink. Glue C and the two mats together. Secure to the tag with 3-d foam. 4. With the Love My Cat Clear Stamp Set, stamp the “I love my cat” sentiment onto grey paper (D). mat with yellow cardstock, then black cardstock. Secure to the card with 3-d foam squares. Ink the edges of the completed card in white ink.
