Pockets of flowers are created using vellum, clear stamps, and inks to finish this fanciful, perfectly pink card making craft. Clear stamps are used to make the floral embellishments that can be used on scrapbooking pages as well as card making crafts.
PAPER DIMENSIONS
MATERIALS NEEDED
TO MAKE THIS CARD1. Score cardstock A down the center and fold giving you a 5" x 7" card and trim card edges for evenness. Cut papers B through E to size. 2. Take the corner rounder and round each corner of the vellum paper (E). Fold bottom corner up to center, then fold sides in overlapping a little to prevent gaps in the envelope seams. Use a small piece of double sided tape in the center to hold flaps together. Do not fold down the top of envelope. 3. Glue envelope onto the front of the card. Stamping in black ink, stamp the flowers from the Love Filled Topper Clear Stamp Set onto yellow cardstock (D). Using the eye shadow applicators to apply colored ink, color your images. Do this by inking the applicator, giving it a light spritz of water and then rubbing the inked applicator on the paper to spread the ink where desired. 4. Distress the edges of A, B, C, and D with the brown ink as instructed in Enhancing with Age under Inking. Glue D onto C and C onto B to double mat your stamped image. Slip into envelope part of the way and secure with glue on the bottom of the image and 3-d foam squares on the top. 5. Stamp three small flowers using the Love Filled Topper Clear Stamp Set in black ink and color. Cut these out carefully and then mount to the envelope with 3-d foam squares. Attach silk flower for the finishing touch. 6. Add a sentiment or thought inside your card or leave it blank for a finished project! |
