Graduation ceremonies may be past, but putting those memories into albums is still important. Stamp graduation caps with clear stamps and create tassles for them, create ABC background paper with alphabet and clear shadow stamps, find page toppers and alphabet clear stamps that enhance the theme. Graduation comes at the completion of much work and as such is a very important milestone in each of our lives. Stamp these memories in the album of life with the featured clear rubber stamps.
CARD MAKING IDEAS
Graduation CongratulationsTo make this card you will need the All Year Clear Stamp Set and the Awesome ABC's Clear Alphabet Stamp. First select a pattern paper that includes alphabet letters or school related images. If you do not have any pattern paper that fits this description simply make your own using alphabet clear stamps and shadow stamps. Select 3 solid colors from your pattern paper for your card. In this card we chose green cardstock for the body of the card, blue green for the hats, red for a horizontal element and a dark purple ink for stamping. We embossed the words with a red embossing powder allowing the powder to lightly stick to the stamped graduation hats. To make the graduation cap strip horizontal element, stamp the hats in a straight line then cut out everything but the top of the hat. Place a brad in the center of the hat then wrap a piece of embroidery floss (3 strands) around the brad and cut at the desired length.
One Hip Hoppin' Grad!To make this card you will need the All Year Clear Stamp Set. On our card we hand wrote the sentiment, you may prefer to use an alphabet clear stamp. The paper we used included a blue-green cardstock, white cardstock, and a grey paper. We used markers to give a darker shade of grey behind the bunny. The zig zag vertical element down the side of the card was created when we cut the graduation cap border for the Graduation Congratulations card above. The ink used was grey and black with a little pink for inking the edges of the paper. Stamp the frame on the grey paper and color the center in for a darker grey. Stamp the bunny in grey ink and color the ears, carrot and carrot tops. Color the corners of the frame to match the carrot tops. Cut out the bunny using a craft knife. Stamp the graduation cap in black ink and color in with a grey marker. Cut it out with a craft knife. Secure the rabbit in the center of the frame with the graduation cap above. Mat as desired and add the sentiment "One Hip Hoppin' Grad" to the bottom of the card.
Dazzling GraduateThis is a 4" x 4" card highlighting a graduation cap from the School Tools Clear Stamp Set. A glitter element both surrounding the graduation cap and on a horizontal line in the background unify the card. A strip of red adds interest, completed with a red satin ribbon stapled into the corner. Directions to make a horizontal glitter line are included on the Fluttering Wings Card Making Page. Stamping Your Own Theme PaperThis is a simple yet effective way to create a school theme with your own customized colors of ink and clear stamps.
