Make an interesting and beautiful greeting card with a little ink, paper and clear stamps. Combining distressing techniques and clear stamping creates a harmonious and well balanced project from the heart.
MATERIALS NEEDED
TO MAKE THIS CARD:
1. Cut your cardstock (H) to 12" x 6". Score down the center and fold giving you a 6" x 6" card. Be sure to trim the edges after you have folded your card so all edges are even. 2. Cut all the pieces needed for assembling this card. Accent each piece by inking the edges as described in Enhancing with Age. Be sure to ink the edge of the folded card as well. 3. SQUARE 1: Take your button and thread the sting through the button holes. Tie a knot to secure the string. Attach button as desired with glue to G. Matte G with F. Glue onto E and finish by matting with A. Set aside. 4. SQUARE 2: Cut length of ribbon and tie around the middle of E securing with a square knot. Trim ends to desired length. Matte with A. Set aside. 5. SQUARE 3. Stamp desired image or sentiment on D with brown ink. Matte B with A. Attach D to B using 3-d sticky squares. Set aside. 6. SQUARE 4: Secure brad to C as desired. Matte C with B, and Matte again with A. Set aside for assembly. 7. ASSEMBLY: Arrange squares uniformly on the face of your card. Secure with 3-d Sticky squares. |
