This Happy Thanksgiving Day card is a great card making craft idea for Thanksgiving dinner invitations or Warm Thanksgiving wishes.  The rubber stamps used on this card are from the Thanksgiving Bears Clear Stamp Set.  Paper techniques used include tearing cardstock in a strip and highlighting it with a transparent ribbon.  This same idea can easily be used to celebrate baby's first Thanksgiving as well.

  SCRAPBOOK PAGE IDEAS
  • Using leaf elements, create piles of leaves by rubber stamping leaves on autumn colors onto white cardstock.  You may choose to cut some additional leaves to add a little dimension to the pile with the use of dimensional sticky foam.  Place a few random leaves around to finish the scrapbook page.
  • Craft a Blessing Tree by rubber stamping a variety of leaf shapes in autumn colors and cutting them out.  Place them in a blessing basket or hand them out to family members and friendsso they can record the things they are thankful for on their leaf.  Put all the leaves in the Blessing Basket.  You might use this craft for a Thanksgiving decoration.  After Thanksgiving, use the blessing leaves to create a tree.  Sketch or use paper strips to create a tree trunk and fasten on the leaves.  Entitle the page "Our Blessing Tree".  There are many other Scrapbook Page Toppers you may wish to choose from.
