 TO MAKE THIS CARD
- Score cardstock A down the middle and fold giving you a 6" x 6" card. Trim edges for evenness.
- Using the Tropical Clear Stamp Set ink the Palm leaves with the non permanent black marker (or black ink if preferred). Stamp two images on B. Attach the trunk of each tree, bending as desired in black ink. Add a little foliage in black at the base of the tree. Color in a small shoreline at the base of the trees.
- Using the Tropical Clear Stamp Set, stamp a mountain island if desired with the mountain stamp. Be sure you color it in with the black marker so you have nothing but a solid shape. Add a horizon by stamping waves in black ink from the base of the mountains across the page. Add waves over the ocean area.
- Using chalks, begin with a yellow and color in the sun at the horizon and on the water. Color in a light orange around that adding it in on the water as well. Do the same with a darker orange, pink, purple, and purplish blue. Add a little shadow at the base of thte mountain with grey chalk. Using a dry paint brush blend colors together and brush away excess.
- To add a little sparkle for a finishing touch, add some glitter to the waves of the ocean. Mount B onto A with glue and add a sentiment or thought inside if desired. You may also create sunset backdrops on scrapbook pages with this same technique and stamp!
