    CARD MAKING IDEAS

Create a fun bookmark for winter reading with the word "Winter" stamped on a snowflake background with a snow topped look.  This look can also be created with white glitter and glue.  The Winter Season clear rubber stamp also offers the small stamps that finish the project.  Add a ribbon and you are ready to curl up with a good book and a cup of hot chocolate...

    SCRAPBOOK PAGE IDEAS

    • On a white scrapbook page or card stamp snowflakes randomly with embossing ink and emboss with clear embossing powder.  With a brush or sponge and a little water, go over the page with blue or black ink.  This will leave the embossed snowflakes to stand out.  Allow the paper to dry thouroughly before adding scrapbooking or card making elements.
    • Create drifts across the bottom of your page by tearing uneven strips of vellum and white cardstock in varying widths.  Alternate the cardstock and the vellum across the bottom of a blue scrapbook page.  Add a little glitter if desired.  Mat photos with white cardstock to carry the snow theme throughout the page.   Tuck lower photos in behind the drifts you created.  Embellish with snowman rubber stamp and snowflakes if desired.
    • Create a snowy day with swirling dotted lines and flower snowflakes on a light background.  To embellish the page attach small silk flowers onto the dotted lines with a metallic brad.  Choose colors for the flowers from your photographes.  If you wish to further embellish the page, add snowflakes embossed with clear embossing powder.
